2027 Conference Call for Abstracts

Rooted in Health: Strong Connections, Vibrant Communities, Safe Environments

Share Your Work at the 2027 Confluence Conference

AMPHO, MEHA, and MPHA invite public health professionals, partners, researchers, students, and others working to improve the health of Montana communities to submit an abstract for the 2027 Confluence Conference, March 1–3, 2027 in Helena, Montana.

The Confluence Conference brings together Association members and professionals to share ideas, strengthen connections, learn from one another, and explore approaches to improving public and environmental health. We welcome proposals that highlight practical strategies, emerging issues, innovative programs, lessons learned, research, partnerships, and other work that can inform and inspire attendees.

What We're Looking For:

Strong submissions should clearly describe the proposed session and its relevance to conference attendees. Abstracts will be reviewed and scored based on criteria including:

  • Clear title and presentation description

  • Evidence, data, or frameworks informing the work

  • Measurable learning objectives

  • Opportunities for participant engagement

  • Clearly identified intended audience

  • Public health impact and/or practice-based implications

  • Relevance to public or environmental health in Montana

  • Completeness of the submission

These criteria reflect the areas considered through the conference's abstract review process.
