New Grant Opportunity for Local & Tribal Health Departments in Montana

MTPHI is excited to announce a new funding opportunity to support community engagement and capacity enhancing initiatives for local and tribal health departments in Montana. These grants are designed to strengthen infrastructure, foster partnerships, and enhance responsiveness to community needs. 

  • Community Engagement Grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Health departments may request up to $1,500 per award paid directly to vendors (unless otherwise requested). Health departments are eligible to divide this into multiple requests through June 30, 2025. Learn more & apply here: Community Engagement Grants

  • Capacity Enhancing Grant applications will be accepted on a quarterly basis. For this quarter, the application window is October 1-22, 2025. The next round will open in January 2026. Health departments may request up to $15,000 per award and are eligible for one project through June 30, 2026. Learn more & apply here: Capacity Enhancing Grants
